Rosy Segura

Born in Orange, California in 1991, Rosy Segura grew up surrounded by a supportive family. She earned her LVN license from Anaheim Career College in 2012 and began her career in healthcare, gaining experience in pediatrics home healthcare, clinical research, and general medicine. …crisis intervention, and advocacy. She completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and SafeTALK, preparing her to identify and intervene with individuals in mental health crisis. As a Victim Advocate, she supported survivors of sexual assault by providing resources and guidance. Additionally, she trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), assisting service members experiencing PTSD and other high-stress challenges.

Currently, Rosy is pursuing her AA in Allied Health at Diablo Valley College and plans to transfer to San Francisco City College to obtain certification in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (DCS). Her strong clinical background, combined with her commitment to community well-being, makes her a strong ally for advocacy at ALLICE.
